I converted a vacated 2000 sq. ft. space on the Napa Street Pier that was formerly used for crab fishing boats to off load their catch. They would either freeze or cook for distribution to local venues. For freezing, someone had moved an old refrigeration train car minus wheels and axels onto the pier to ice the catch. So, I set
about building out around the rest of the space as it was wide open with amazing views of the San Francisco Bay and the ebb and flow of the tide between the spaces between the planks on the pier. I divided up the space into a shop, a studio space and living quarters.
